Meet our nurse practitioner!
Lisa Roberts is an Advance Practice Registered Nurse that is dual Board Certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner & Family Nurse Practitioner, she completed her Masters and Post-Masters work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lisa has been working in healthcare since 1986 when she trained as a Combat Medic for the Army. Her desire to get to the root of an illness instead of treating a symptom grew out of her own experience with “Gulf War Syndrome”. She controls her symptoms with a Functional Medicine approach that includes traditional foods, supplements, heart rate variability, support of her family, stress management, movement, and connection with her community. She relocated to Cache Valley in 2015 and enjoys working on her small urban farm taking care of goats, chickens, a horse, ducks, two dogs, a cat, and all the critters that just come visit!
